3 Minute Speech on Friendship

Good Morning to one and all present here. I am going to present a speech about friendship. Friendship is one of the treasures that anyone can possess. God gave us the right to choose friends because they will be with us forever. Our parents and siblings are loving us as they are our own blood. But a friend is someone, who is initially a stranger. Then they take their place in our life above all the other relations. Friendship is nothing but true and pure love without expectations in return.

Speech on Friendship

Role of a Friend

True friends always support each other even during the hardest of times. A true friend is one who feels happy for our success, on the other hand, who feel gloomy for our failures. A true friend may criticize also so that we may come out of our weakness.

He may scold us if we do a mistake and guide the right path. That’s why it is being said that true friend is more precious than any gem in our life. Love from your friend will always be unconditional. They may expect nothing from us but shower their love always.

Friendship – A Divine Relationship

Friendship is a divine relationship, which is beyond the definition of blood relations. It is the only relation that is truly priceless. We may acquire all kinds of pleasures by putting our efforts. But even then life may remain dull, without having someone to share our life with some true friends.

It’s natural that human being always tends to find emotional support and social life. In spite of having everything in life, we may remain in a vacuum. It happens only when we have no such good friend to share our small and small happiness in life. Friends are always there to listen to us unconditionally.

There is no Second Chance for True Friendship

Friendship will provide us with thousands of fun moments in life which we may memorize in our old age. But side by side, with times this relation may have moments of crisis. A misunderstanding may crop in and this amazing relation may start weakening.

Always be the first one to save the friendship. God forbid, if due to some unfavorable reason distance ever arises within this relation, we must not let our friend go. Hold his or her hand and apologize for any mistake done. There is nothing more pathetic in anyone’s life than losing a true friend.

Friendship is a relationship that is like a newborn baby. Friendship is always pure and like a bundle of joy which only needs more and more nourishment to grow. Never ignore true friends or take them for granted. We may come across various people at different phases of our life. Many may pretend to be our friends but never go by outward glitter.

At last, I wish to say that a good friendship is very difficult to come across. Therefore, we should appreciate this divine relationship having a base on understanding and feelings. We just need friends to live happily. Lasting friendship is a blessing for everyone.

We don`t need to pretend to be someone else when we spend time with our friends. They give us total freedom to be who we are in reality. We should always be grateful to people who make us happy. A true friend is one of the most precious possessions in anyone’s life.

Friendship Speech Tips

Understanding friendship.

Before we dive into the art of writing a speech on friendship, let us first understand the true essence of friendship. Friendship is a treasured relationship built on trust, mutual respect, and genuine care for one another. It is a bond that transcends boundaries, celebrates our similarities, embraces our differences, and provides us with emotional support during both our triumphs and trials. True friendship is a sanctuary where we can be our authentic selves, where acceptance and understanding abound.

Defining the Purpose and Tone

When crafting a speech on friendship, it is essential to define the purpose and tone of your message. Consider the occasion and audience for which you are delivering the speech. Are you speaking at a graduation ceremony, a farewell party, or a casual gathering of friends? Understanding the context will help you determine the appropriate tone—whether it be celebratory, reflective, or even humorous. Additionally, consider the main message you want to convey about friendship. Is it the importance of loyalty, the power of shared experiences, or the impact of support? Clarifying your purpose will ensure a focused and impactful speech.

Sharing Personal Experiences

One of the most effective ways to connect with your audience when speaking about friendship is by sharing personal experiences. Draw from your own life and reflect on memorable moments that highlight the significance of friendship. Whether it’s a heartwarming anecdote, a transformative journey, or a lesson learned, personal stories add depth and authenticity to your speech. By sharing your experiences, you create a relatable connection and inspire others to reflect on their own friendships.

Utilizing Emotional Appeal

To create an impactful speech on friendship, it is important to tap into the emotions of your audience. Friendship is inherently tied to our emotions, and evoking those emotions can help drive your message home. Use descriptive language, vivid imagery, and heartfelt anecdotes to paint a picture that resonates with your listeners. Whether it’s describing the joy of shared laughter, the comfort of a shoulder to lean on, or the strength of unwavering support, engaging emotions will leave a lasting impression on your audience.

Incorporating Inspirational Quotes and Literature

Quotations and references from renowned authors, philosophers, and poets can add depth and richness to your speech on friendship. Seek out quotes that capture the essence of friendship and amplify your message. Whether it’s Aristotle’s reflections on true friendship, William Shakespeare’s poetic musings on companionship, or contemporary authors’ insights, incorporating these literary gems adds credibility and showcases the universality of friendship. These quotes can serve as touchstones throughout your speech, reinforcing your main ideas and inspiring your audience.

Offering Practical Advice and Reflection

A memorable speech on friendship goes beyond anecdotes and emotions; it also offers practical advice and encourages self-reflection. Share tips for nurturing and sustaining friendships, such as active listening, open communication, and being present in each other’s lives. Encourage your audience to reflect on their own friendships, to reach out and mend broken bonds, and to cherish the connections they have. By providing practical guidance and fostering introspection, your speech can inspire meaningful action and personal growth.

Friendship Speech Example #1

Ladies and gentlemen,

Good morning/afternoon/evening!

Today, I stand before you to celebrate a timeless and precious bond that has shaped humanity since the beginning of time: friendship. Friendship is a gift that transcends borders, cultures, and generations. It is a bond that brings light to our lives, adds color to our experiences, and provides us with the support and companionship we need to navigate the ups and downs of life.

Friendship is a testament to the beauty of human connection. It goes beyond mere acquaintanceship and delves into the realm of deep understanding, trust, and shared experiences. A friend is someone who knows us for who we truly are and accepts us without judgment. They see our strengths, our weaknesses, and everything in between, yet choose to stand by our side through it all.

In a world that often feels divided, friendship unites us. It breaks down barriers, fosters empathy and compassion, and reminds us of our shared humanity. Through friendship, we learn to appreciate our differences, to celebrate diversity, and to embrace the richness that comes from engaging with people from various backgrounds and perspectives.

Friendship is a source of joy and laughter. It is in the company of friends that we find ourselves at ease, able to let go of our worries and simply enjoy the present moment. Whether it’s sharing a hearty laugh over a funny story, embarking on adventures together, or simply spending quality time in each other’s company, friends bring a sense of joy and lightheartedness to our lives.

But friendship is not just about the good times. It is during the challenging moments that the true strength of friendship shines through. Friends are there to offer support, lend a listening ear, and provide a shoulder to lean on. They offer words of encouragement, helping us find the courage to face our fears and overcome obstacles. In times of sadness or loss, friends offer solace and comfort, reminding us that we are not alone in our struggles.

To cultivate and nurture friendships, we must be willing to invest time and effort. It requires being present, actively listening, and showing genuine care and interest in the lives of our friends. It means being there for them in both good times and bad, celebrating their achievements and providing a source of strength during challenging times. Small gestures of kindness and thoughtfulness can go a long way in deepening the bonds of friendship.

In a world that is increasingly connected through technology, it is important to remember the value of face-to-face interactions and genuine human connection. Put down your phones, step away from the screens, and engage in meaningful conversations with the people around you. Take the time to truly listen, to understand, and to be present. In doing so, you will not only strengthen existing friendships but also create opportunities to form new connections.

In conclusion, let us cherish and honor the power of friendship. Let us celebrate the friends who have enriched our lives, and let us strive to be the kind of friend that we ourselves would like to have. May we continue to cultivate meaningful connections, to embrace the diversity of the human experience, and to uplift and support one another on our respective journeys.

Thank you for your attention, and may the bonds of friendship continue to inspire and illuminate our lives.

Friendship Speech Example #2

Today, I want to take a moment to reflect on one of life’s greatest treasures: friendship. Friendship is a beacon of light that guides us, a source of strength that uplifts us, and a tapestry of shared memories that weaves together the chapters of our lives.

Friendship is a gift that knows no boundaries. It transcends age, gender, race, and background. It is a connection that forms when two souls resonate with each other, when trust is built, and when hearts align. Whether it’s a childhood friend who has been by your side through thick and thin or a new acquaintance who has entered your life and quickly become an integral part of it, friendship has the power to transform and elevate our existence.

True friendship is based on a foundation of trust, respect, and authenticity. It is a safe haven where we can be our true selves, free from judgment or pretense. Our friends see us for who we are, flaws and all, and love us unconditionally. They provide a space where we can express our hopes, dreams, fears, and vulnerabilities without fear of rejection. In their presence, we can grow and evolve, knowing that we have their unwavering support.

Friendship is not just about the good times; it is also about weathering the storms together. It is during the challenging moments that the strength of friendship shines brightest. Friends offer a listening ear, a comforting embrace, and words of wisdom when life becomes overwhelming. They provide a fresh perspective, offering guidance and encouragement to help us navigate through difficult situations. With friends by our side, we are reminded that we are never alone in our struggles.

Friendship is a source of inspiration and personal growth. Friends challenge us to step outside of our comfort zones, to embrace new experiences, and to discover hidden talents and strengths within ourselves. They believe in our potential even when we doubt ourselves, pushing us to reach for the stars and achieve greatness. They celebrate our achievements with genuine joy, and their unwavering support fuels our drive to succeed.

In a fast-paced world where technology often replaces genuine human connection, it is important to prioritize and nurture our friendships. Take the time to reach out to your friends, to listen to their stories, and to create new memories together. Plan outings, organize gatherings, or simply have a cup of coffee and engage in meaningful conversations. Invest in the relationships that bring you joy and fulfillment, for they are the threads that enrich the fabric of your life.

In conclusion, let us celebrate the gift of friendship. Let us express gratitude for those special individuals who have touched our lives, who have shared our laughter and wiped away our tears. May we cherish and nurture these connections, for they are the foundation of love, support, and understanding. And as we continue our journey through life, may we always be open to new friendships, for each one has the potential to bring new meaning and joy to our lives.

Thank you for your attention, and may the bonds of friendship continue to grace our lives with love, laughter, and profound connections.

Friendship Speech Example #3

Today, I would like to speak about the extraordinary power of friendship—a bond that enriches our lives and shapes our very existence. Friendship is a testament to the beauty of human connection, a source of joy, and a pillar of strength in times of need.

At its core, friendship is a relationship built on mutual trust, respect, and shared experiences. It is a bond that transcends superficial differences and embraces the essence of who we are as individuals. True friends accept us for who we are, flaws and all, and support us on our journey of self-discovery and growth.

Friendship is a sanctuary where we find solace and comfort. It is a space where we can freely express our thoughts, emotions, and fears, knowing that our friends will listen without judgment. They offer a shoulder to lean on, a compassionate ear to hear our sorrows, and a kind heart to share our joys. In their presence, we feel seen, heard, and understood.

Friends are the companions who accompany us on life’s adventures. They are the ones who laugh with us, explore new horizons with us, and create memories that become the fabric of our stories. They bring lightness, laughter, and a sense of playfulness into our lives, reminding us to embrace the beauty of the present moment.

Friendship is also a catalyst for personal growth. Our friends inspire us to be the best versions of ourselves. They challenge us to step outside of our comfort zones, pursue our passions, and confront our fears. They provide honest feedback and constructive criticism, helping us recognize our blind spots and encouraging us to strive for continuous improvement.

In a world that can sometimes feel fragmented and isolated, friendship has the power to bridge divides. It fosters empathy, compassion, and understanding. Through our friendships, we gain exposure to different cultures, perspectives, and worldviews, broadening our horizons and enriching our lives. Friendship teaches us the value of acceptance, tolerance, and embracing diversity.

To cultivate and nurture friendships, we must be willing to invest time, effort, and genuine care. It requires active listening, empathy, and a willingness to be there for our friends in both good times and bad. We must celebrate their successes, support them through their challenges, and be a source of strength and encouragement when they need it most. Small gestures of kindness, such as a heartfelt message or a thoughtful gift, can go a long way in nurturing the bonds of friendship.

In conclusion, let us pause and celebrate the immense value of friendship. Let us express gratitude for the friends who have walked alongside us, bringing joy, support, and inspiration. May we continue to foster these connections, nurturing them with love and care. And as we move forward, may we embrace new friendships, extending our hearts and minds to create a world where friendship knows no boundaries.

Thank you for your attention, and may the spirit of friendship continue to illuminate our lives with love, laughter, and lasting connections.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, friendship is a powerful force that enriches our lives and shapes our very being. Crafting a memorable speech on friendship requires a deep understanding of its essence, purpose, and audience. By sharing personal experiences, utilizing emotional appeal, incorporating inspirational quotes, and offering practical advice, you can create a speech that resonates with your listeners and leaves a lasting impact. So, let us celebrate the beauty of friendship, honor those who have touched our lives, and continue to cultivate meaningful connections that will uplift and inspire us throughout our journey.

Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for joining me on this exploration of friendship through the art of speechwriting.

15 Prompts for Talking and Writing About Friendship

Questions to help students reflect on the meaning of friendship in their lives

friendship jam topic

By Natalie Proulx

Who are your closest friends? How much do you share with them? Do you actually like your friends? What have you learned from them?

Below, we’ve rounded up 15 questions we’ve asked students over the years all about friendship. You can use them as prompts for writing or discussion, inside the classroom or out. We hope they’ll inspire you to reflect on your friendships, consider how you can strengthen the ones you have, and motivate you to reach out and make new ones.

Each prompt includes an excerpt from a related New York Times article, essay or photo; a link to the related piece; and several questions to help you think deeply about it. Many of these questions are still open for comment from students 13 or older.

You can find even more ideas for teaching and learning about friendship in our related lesson plan: How Students Can Cultivate Meaningful Friendships Using The New York Times .

1. Who Are Your Friends?

Do you have a “best friend,” a few close friends or a large group of friends? What interests, experiences, passions and circumstances forge those relationships? What are some of your favorite memories or admirable characteristics you associate with your friends?

Use this Picture Prompt to talk or write about your most important friendships.

2. How Alike Are You and Your Friends?

Did you know there is science behind how we choose our friends? Research has shown that we tend to befriend people who are much like us in a wide array of characteristics, including age, race, religion, even our handgrip strength.

In this prompt , you’ll read more about the things that bond us, and then share what you and your friends have in common.

3. Do You Have Any Unlikely Friendships?

Though we tend to connect with people who are like us, sometimes friendship happens with someone we’d least expect. That was the case for Spencer Sleyon, a 22-year-old rapper and producer from East Harlem, and Rosalind Guttman, an 81-year-old woman living in a retirement community in Florida, who met playing the Words With Friends game.

Do you have any surprising friendships like this one?

4. How Much Do You Share With Your Friends?

Do you often express your innermost thoughts, feelings and struggles to those closest to you? Or do you tend to keep those things to yourself? Being vulnerable can be scary, but research shows it’s important for building connections with others.

Use this prompt to reflect on what it feels like to open up to your friends, and how you might try to do more of it.

5. Do You Have Satisfying Friendships?

Are internet friendships as fulfilling as in-person ones? In a guest essay, a writer argues that “The kind of presence required for deep friendship does not seem cultivated in many online interactions. Presence in friendship requires ‘being with’ and ‘doing for.’”

Do you agree? Can online “friends” be true friends? Share your opinion.

6. Do You Have Any Close Friends?

Do you prefer to have many casual friends or just a few close ones? What makes a person a “best” friend? Do you wish you had more close friendships? This prompt explores these questions and more, as well as shares expert advice for developing deeper friendships.

7. How Do You React When Your Friendships Change?

Have you ever become less close to a friend over time? Have you ever felt jealousy when your friend joined another friend group? Have you ever had a friendship just fizzle out? These kinds of changes happen all the time, but they can be difficult to navigate.

Tell us what you do when you feel a friendship start to shift.

8. Do Social Media and Smartphones Make Your Friendships Stronger?

friendship jam topic

Does being able to stay constantly in touch with your friends via social media, texting and location sharing strengthen your friendships and make them easier to maintain? Or does it do the opposite? Weigh in with your experiences on this prompt .

9. Do You Like Your Friends?

It may sound like a strange question, but a 2016 study found that only about half of perceived friendships are mutual. That means you might not even like someone who thinks of you as a best friend. And vice versa.

Is this is true for any of your relationships?

10. How Often Do You Text Your Friends Just to Say ‘Hi’?

When was the last time you texted, called, emailed or messaged a friend just to say “hello”? Research suggests casual check-ins might mean more than we realize. Do you underestimate how much your friends would like hearing from you?

Read what experts have to say and then share your thoughts.

11. Is It Harder for Men and Boys to Make and Keep Friends?

American men appear to be stuck in a “friendship recession,” according to a recent survey. Less than half of men said they were truly satisfied with the number of friendships they had. The same study also found that men are less likely than women to seek emotional support from or share personal feelings with their friends.

Does this reflect your experience? Weigh in.

12. Do You Have Any Intergenerational Friendships?

“When applying to my job, I had no idea of the friendships I would be making with 70+ year old women. They teach me new things every day while I hear their life stories and things they have done,” Laura from Ellisville wrote in response to this prompt.

Do you have any friends who are significantly younger or older than you? What do you think we can gain from these kinds of intergenerational friendships? Tell us here.

13. Have You Ever Been Left Out?

Imagine it’s a Saturday. All your friends told you they were busy, so you’re sitting at home, alone, mindlessly scrolling through Instagram. But then you see a post that stops you in your tracks. It’s a picture of all of your friends hanging out together — without you. This is what happened to Hallie Reed in her first semester at college.

Has something like this ever happened to you? Use this prompt to talk or write about how it felt.

14. What Have Your Friends Taught You About Life?

“My friends taught me different perspectives on life.” “My friends have taught me to not care what other people think.” “My friends have taught me to be myself.”

These are just a few of the responses teenagers had to this prompt. What have your friends taught you?

15. Have You Ever Had a Significant Friendship End?

Few relationships are meant to last forever. In a guest essay, Lauren Mechling writes that “even bonds founded on that rare, deeply felt psychic connection between two people” are “bound to fray.”

Have you experienced this with someone with whom you were once very close? What happened? Share your story.

Students 13 and older in the United States and Britain, and 16 and older elsewhere, are invited to comment. All comments are moderated by the Learning Network staff, but please keep in mind that once your comment is accepted, it will be made public and may appear in print.

Friendship Speech for Students in English

Friends are the family one chooses, and true friends stay with us through thick and thin. A speech on friendship can be given on the occasion of friendship day or any occasion when one wants to celebrate friendship and share the role of friendship in one’s life with others. Here, we will discuss several ways of presenting a friendship speech, like a long speech on friendship and a short speech on friendship. Also, 10 lines on friendship speech in English are discussed below.

Long and Short Friendship Speech in English

Long speech on friendship.

A long version of a speech on friendship can be framed as follows.

Very good morning to everyone. Today, I would like to deliver a speech on friendship which will take us on a walk through the streets of nostalgia and relive the precious essence of friendship that we all have experienced.

Friend. That one kid who stole your candy in school or the one student who gained more marks than you in college, or the topper who taught you everything just before an exam in university. Every friend that crosses our path in life always has something to give us, be it good memories, lessons, or just something worthwhile. True friends are always there for us through thick and thin, through good or bad, and through weal and woe. True friends support us in our decisions and correct us for our well-being. Through this speech on friendship, I am delighted to extend my gratitude to all such friends I am blessed with.

All types of friendships have something or the other that’s unique and special, a best friend, an acquaintance, or a group of friends. Whoever that may be, a friend should always be the one who fuels our passion to flying rather than clipping our wings. As we grow older, making new friends seems to be a tough job as we create a comfort zone of our own. So, the ones who remain friends since childhood and never give up on each other are the ones who are valuable.

Friendship shouldn’t be accompanied by jealousy, ego, or insecurity. A good friendship is one where people can share all their emotions heart to heart without the fear of being judged. Although friends have numerous memories to giggle about, friendship is not only about smiles or jokes. Friends should always respect each other, understand each other and support each other throughout. No one is perfect in this world. So, insecurities and flaws just make a person complete and friends are the ones who never judge each other over each other’s flaws or insecurities, rather support each other when they get agitated due to the same. Searching for the good in people, accepting their flaws, and staying loyal help people end up being good friends.

Friends are very special as we choose them to be with us and include them in our lives. So, one must make sure that they choose good ones. In this busy world, people tend to drift apart from each other due to work or other engagements. Friendships are the strongest when they reach a stage where they don't need to communicate every day to maintain the bond.

In conclusion, I would like to say that with time, friends also become family and a place for us to seek closure. Such friends should be cherished and celebrated as much as possible, and gratitude should be expressed from time to time. I am so grateful to have such amazing friends who are like a family to me. I am thankful for these precious bonds that I have created over time and spending time with them makes everything better. Friendship is the only bond that survives through thick and thin.

Short Speech on Friendship

A short friendship speech can be given on any occasion. Here, students can find an easy way to express their views on friendship in simple words.

Good morning all, today I will speak on friendship. It’s an apt topic for me; a few years ago I would not even have the courage to stand on this stage before you all. I owe a lot to my friends who have supported me and converted my weaknesses into my strengths. Friends are the ones who bring out the best in you. They will always be there for you and turn to your side in good and bad times. Friends are special as they never make you feel alone. They uplift you when you feel discouraged. They are the ones who also bring us to the right path when we are lost.

In friendship, there is no room for negativity or negative emotions. Negative emotions like ego, jealousy, hatred, possessiveness, and anger can only ruin relationships. A true friend is one who can recognize such emotions and help you bring them out. This proves their sincerity and loyalty towards you and such friends should always be held close. We all lose some friends along the way due to distance or misunderstandings. On the other hand, we also gain many real friends who believe in us and support us no matter what the circumstances are.

In conclusion, I would like to add, friendship is a mixed bag and there is every emotion in it and many ups and downs along the way. We should enjoy this gift of friendship and always lead with love, honesty, and understanding.

10 Line Friendship Speech

This form of friendship speech is very useful for students in grades 1-3, who are only discovering friendship in their way, and in these 10 lines, they can understand it simply and more clearly.

Friendship is the first relationship we form after the family.

Making friends is a very natural tendency in one’s life.

When one is younger, they form more friends easily as they are curious and new in this journey of life.

Such early formed friendships can last a lifetime together.

As these childhood friends grow along with us through the good and the bad times.

They are sincere, loyal, honest, understanding, and non-judgmental.

As one becomes older, one becomes angry, jealous, and egoistic.

No friendship should be led with harboring negative feelings.

Friendship is the purest form of bond between two people or more.

The more true friends you have the more sweet life becomes and we can live life to the fullest.

Friendship is one of the most beautiful relationships people can have. A speech on friendship can be given on the occasion of friendship day or even any other normal day because friendship, whenever celebrated, just warms everyone's hearts. So, these are some ways of giving a good speech on friendship like a long speech on friendship, a short speech on friendship and a 10 lines friendship speech in English.

Speech about Friendship

Speculating upon what to write and what not to write when you sit down to prepare a speech on friendship? This article will offer some hand-holding and assist you to write your own friendship day speech.

Speech on How Important It Is to Have a Friend?

As social beings, humans always look out for companionship irrespective of the kind of people they are. Friends make one’s life meaningful and colourful. As kids, your cousins would be the first friends you make. As you grow up, you meet random people who express similar interests, and these are the ones who become your friends eventually.

Friendship is as sweet as it is, but you should always try to make the right kind of friends who would be a strong support in helping you grow. Bad friends can make you feel good about what you do, especially when you do something that is not right. This kind of a friendship would never help you grow to become the kind of person you are destined to be. Good friends, on the other hand, are one of the most wonderful treasures life can possibly give you. Friends are the family you choose. They always stand by you in every situation, no matter what.

Below are a few samples that would aid you in writing a speech on friendship, one that you can say not just on a friendship day but any random day when you want to let your friends know how important they are to you.

Friendship Day Speech

Short speech about friendship, faqs on friendship day.

Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday in the month of August. The idea of celebrating Friendship Day globally was first thought of by Dr. Roman Artemio Bracho in 1958. It, however, was made official by the United Nations General Assembly in 2011. July 30 was declared as the International Day of Friendship with the idea of instilling friendly relations between people, countries, cultures and individuals, which would, in turn, inspire peace among different communities. Since then, people all around the world celebrate Friendship Day by exchanging friendship bands, gifts and greeting cards.

Being in school, Friendship Day was one of the most anticipated celebrations when you wait to collect as many friendship bands as possible every year. To a school kid, the number of friendship bands meant that you had a lot of friends. Friendship bands are definitely a good way to make new friends and also to remind your old friends that they matter to you. However, I would like to say that the number of friendship bands you gain on a Friendship Day does not count. All that counts is that you have at least one friend who has always got your back and would not give up on you even when you give up on yourself. You will feel a lot more lively and confident with just this one person by your side. Friends don’t stand by you only when you are happy; they make sure you are holding up and getting better even in the toughest times. They will love you for what you are and hold your hand even at your worst.

Make friends with your kind of people, and you will have the time of your life. There might be misunderstandings and fights among friends, but it is these fights that would make your bond even stronger. Friends eventually become your family. So, on this Friendship Day, I wish you good friendships and a life filled with happiness and adventure. Happy Friendship Day everyone.

Vladimir Lenin said, “Show me who your friends are, and I will tell you what you are.” The friends you keep are a reflection of the kind of person you are. One becomes friends with people who share similar interests. C.S. Lewis said, “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” Those who like the same songs, bond over a favourite series or a nostalgic place are the ones who would for sure turn out to be the closest and thickest of friends.

Friends always stand by you. From participating in competitions to getting scolded by parents and teachers, your friends will be there all along. They will keep all your secrets safe and give you the solutions to almost every problem. A good friend guides you and helps you choose the right path.

Have you ever thought what it would be like to live in a world without friends? Those who have had good friends in their life can never imagine a life without them. Friends can influence your life to a great extent in both good and bad ways. It is up to you to choose the right company to keep. Cherish your friends and the times you spend with them because they make the future you. So choose your friends wisely and live life to the fullest.

Why are friends so special?

Friends include the best kind of people you have in your life. Friends can be your unpaid therapist. They can help you out of any mood swings and can cheer you up even if you do not want to feel better. Having a good friend is one of the greatest gifts of life. Cherish your friends and the times you spend with them because they make the future you.

What makes a good friend?

A good friend would be a person who is a well-wisher and the one who would always push you to do your best. A good friend knows you better than you think you know yourself. A good friend would hold your hand and stand beside you in all your happiest and saddest moments of life.

What are the quotes you can use in a friendship day speech?

Some examples of quotes that can be used when you write down your Friendship Day speech are given below: “A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.” — Walter Winchell “The only way to have a friend is to be one.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson “A good friend is a connection to life, a tie to the past, a road to the future, the key to sanity in a totally insane world.” — Lois Wyse “True friends are those rare people who come to find you in dark places and lead you back to the light.” — Anonymous

Respected Sir, Mam and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak words on the topic- the age of internet. One of the most ground breaking developments of modern technology is the internet. It connects the entire world together, transforming the planet into a global village. The internet allows us to access phones and social media, the internet has invaded every part of our lives. As a result, it is often rightly said that we live in the age of the internet. Thank you all for listening to me.

Our Hobbies reflect our personalities. My favourite hobby is Gardening, as a hobby has so many advantages. My hobby is gardening and it is my favourite way to pass time. It mainly consists of preparing the flower beds, sowing the seeds and taking care of the plants as they grow. I grow flowers and vegetables in the backyard. In this way, I can use my spare time productively and is beneficial for my health. Spending spare time in useless gossip or straining the eyesight viewing the T.V. All this is hardly a useful utilization of one’s leisure. You dig, you till , you soil with your hands, you even sweat in the process and the least of it all, you are constantly in the company of nature. You reap the fruits of your labour what else can be so satisfying than that. You are face to face with the spirituality of the matter how from such a small see gets produced such beauty. This is thus the most rewarding hobby if one develops it and enjoys it too.

Cricket is my favourite sport. Cricket is a sport that is widely played across the globe. It also called the Gentleman’s Game. I play cricket every day in the evening with my neighbourhood friends. Although we don’t obey the rules of cricket, it is a great source of physical exercise and entertainment. Before the game starts we toss a coin and whoever gets the head wins to choose between Batting and bowling. This is an outdoor game ; it is played with a bat, and ball along with the stumps. In the gar of cricket, each team competes with the other and the team with the highest score wins the game. There’s an umpire who observes the game and ensures that rules are being followed. Player have to listen to the umpire and the judgement of the umpire is the final decision. It is one the most famous games of India. My favourite cricketer is Virat Kohli. Everyone should play one or another sport to stay healthy and fit. Playing is a great source of entertainment and fun.

Shimla is my favourite summer holiday destination in India. It is a capital of the state Himachal Pradesh. I visited it along with my friends in summer. Before arrival to the beautiful Shimla I reserved the hotel through a tour operator company. It was a wonderful summer journey. There were many dazzling and wonderful attractive spots to watch like Jakhu hills, Lord Hanuman temple and local handcraft museum. Jakhu hills is a mind-blowing hill station and according to the tour operator the hill station is safest trekking place in India. Next morning we went on a trekking trip, really the trip was unforgettable. Next day we visited Tara Devi, according to local belief the shimla tour remains incomplete if a tourist never Goddess Tara Devi temple. At the first visit to the temple itself we got a very spiritual feeling.

I am Raju, studying intermediate first year. Today I want to talk about something that I believe is important for all of us. English, It my favourite subject. It’s both internal and international language. It’s the gateway to the modern world. Today 98% of the research work is being done in English language. If you have good communication skills, we can crack any job exams or interviews. Speaking in English is also a status symbol. It is an indispensible weapon in the hands of a student. So, we should not take it for granted. Rather we should try to enrich our English knowledge.

My name is Manish. Last week, on a beautiful Sunday morning, I went on an exciting trip to the Nehru Zoological Park, which is a popular place in our city. This famous park is not only one of my favorites, but it’s also a must-see for anyone who wants to have a fun and educational time. Our day started out bright and early, and we were excited for the amazing things we were about to see. There were animals from all over the world waiting for us when we walked into the zoo. The Lion’s Safari was the best part of our trip because it let us see these beautiful animals up close and hear their loud roars. One of the most interesting things to see was the white tiger’s amazing recovery story. It became a symbol of the zoo’s attempts to protect animals. It was both inspiring and educational to learn about their past and importance. To make our trip even more exciting, we took a memorable train ride inside the zoo. This gave us a new view of the park’s vast landscapes and animal enclosures. Overall, my trip to Nehru Zoological Park was one I will never forget. I learned a lot, had a lot of fun, and gained a new respect for the amazing animals that live on Earth. I will always treasure that day and remember it with great affection.

Today is a fabulous day. Our nation celebrates 76 th Independence day. It makes 76 years of our freedom. Our beloved P.M Mr. Narendra Modi is running a tricolor flag campaign, Ghar Ghar ka Tiranga. At the outset, on this occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, I would like to remind you of the great sacrifice and great efforts put by our national leaders. Today Mother India wants hard working boys and girls with good character. Character is our destiny. We the teachers, the national builders have to shoulder greater responsibility, we need to produce good character youth. Without morals, without discipline we produce educated devils only. Today our nation is facing many problems. Above all communal harmony is the need of the hour. We should take an oath to rebuild our nation. “ Happy Independence Day”.

One day is not enough to celebrate Motherhood. We should make every day as special as Mother’s Day to shower our love upon our mothers. A mother is the first teacher and the first friend of her children. We should acknowledge all the little things that our mother does for us. Everyday no other gift can be more special to our mother than her children’s love and respect. Though it is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, every year, yet, we should celebrate every day as Mother’s Day to make our mothers feel special.

Time is more precious than money is. Once the money is used, it can be earned again. But the time we have passed will never return. We all must have heard the famous proverb “Time and tide wait for none”. Time never waits for anyone are anything. In fact, we have to wait for the perfect time. There is a perfect time for everything: therefore, think about how precious the time is and utilise it ideally before time fails. People say money can buy everything but money can never buy time. So understand the value of time and use it wisely.

Social media is the most widely used tool by all age groups today but it is more popular among youth and students. It is like a local newspaper that keeps us updated about what is going on in the lives of our friends, relatives and loved ones. The most notable, it is a fabulous device for education. All the information for something required is just a click away. Students can educate themselves on many topics using social media. Apart from the positive sides social media is also a bit harmful to us. It completely depends on the user what he is extracting out of it.

Environment pollution means pollution which is degrading the environment. Pollution is increasing day by day so global warming is also increasing. Due to environmental pollution there is an imbalance in nature. So many birds, animals and plants are on the verge of extension day by day. The harmful smoke emits from the factories and vehicles are mixed with the air and increasing the pollution. The only way we can get rid of any environmental pollution is to plant more and more trees. We all dream of a beautiful home, our nation too dreams of a beautiful environment. So, all of us should plant trees.

The first day at my college is an important event of my life and an unforgettable day for me. It was the most curiously waiting day for me. I got admission in the government college of my city. I entered the college premises with lot of interest and zeal. There are so many new and unknown faces for me. I experienced some very strange things on the first day of my college. I found all the newly admitted students in the college. I moved to the round of the college. I go to the college library where there were a lot of new books which I like the most to read in free time. I felt so much fortunate to be a student oh this college. Teaching staff is more supportive. It was very good and a great day for me. I got new friends there. We introduced to each other. I just cannot forget the first day of my college. It is the most memorable day of my life.

Education could be defined as the process of gaining knowledge skill benefits and values that help in growth and development of a person education is the most important asset it is as important as food shelter and close while the school and college education programs are relatively modern the learning process has been precise for a long time. Humans have developed by learning themselves and Society must evolve. We can take the example of Hunter gathers they used to pass down their knowledge of hunting and harvesting food during different seasons. Today education is the most important aspect of society as it helps in providing a job at the start of a family. Education helps in understanding the world in a better way. let’s take an example to understand that a person who knows about corruption and other social issues play an important role in fighting it rather than a person who is an aware of anything.

Today I want to talk about Communication is Life Once the ability to communicate can spell the difference between success or failure in all aspects of living you will notice that those people you know who are successful in their endeavours generally have a high ability to communicate. Those who do not do not communicate are not. Just a way of getting along in life it is the heart of life it is by thousands of percent the senior factor in understanding life and living in successfully. we instrictively the great artist painter or musician and society as a whole look up on them not quite ordinary beings and they are not but the understanding and skilled use of communication is not only for artist it is for anyone. In examing the whole subject of communication one is up to discover if he takes a penetrating look that there are very few people around him who are actually communicating, but that they are lot of people who think they are communicating who are not the sometimes is that is better not to communicate them to communicate ,but that is never really the case communication is the solvent for any human problem and understanding, of communication itself was not available for Scientology.

The effect is quite important for life on earth, without the effect the sun’s radiation would be reflected back into the atmosphere freezing the surface and making life impossible. However when greenhouse gases in Access amount get trapped seriously begin to appear the polar ice cap begins to melt, leading to rise in sea levels, further the greenhouse effect is accelerated when polar ice caps and ice metals this is due to the fact that the ice reflect 50% to 70% of the suns race back into space. But without ice the solar radiation gets absorbed. Sea water reflects only 6% of the sun’s radiation back into the space. When a more frightening is the fact that the poles contain large amounts of carbon dioxide trapped within the ice if this ice melts it will significantly concrete to global warming. The related scenario when the phenomenon goes out of control is the Runway greenhouse effect. The scenario is essentially similar to any apocalypse but it is all too real. This has never happened in the earth’s entire history, it is speculated that to the have occurred on Venus millions of years ago ,Venus was thought to have an atmosphere similar to that Earth but due to Runway of greenhouse effect surface temperature and around the planet begin rising. If this occurs on the earth the Runway greenhouse effect will let to many and placement scenarios temperature will rise hot enough for oceans to evaporate once the ocean evaporate The Rocks will start to sublimate under heat in order to prevent such a scenario proper measures have to be taken to stop climate change.

It is the need of the hour now to reduce natural damage reuse goods and recycle used elements to form your ones people from all parts of the world should come together to listen to the pressure on natural nature and restore its balance.

Last weekend, I rewatched my all-time favorite movie, “3 Idiots.” This film, a masterpiece in Indian cinema, holds a special place in my heart. It’s not just a movie; it’s an experience that resonates with the lives of many, including mine. The story revolves around three engineering students, Rancho, Farhan, and Raju, who challenge the norms of their rigid education system while navigating the complexities of friendship, love, and life aspirations. What makes this movie unique is its perfect blend of humor, emotions, and life lessons. The character of Rancho, portrayed brilliantly, is not just a character but a philosophy of life that teaches us to chase excellence, not success. The most memorable scene for me is the ‘Chatur’s speech’ scene, where the intricacies of rote learning and understanding are hilariously yet thoughtfully portrayed. Another scene that touched my heart is the emotional climax where the true identity of Rancho is revealed, unfolding a series of surprises and realizations. The film’s music is another aspect that adds depth to the storytelling. Each song, from the joyful “All is Well” to the inspiring “Give Me Some Sunshine,” is not just a melody but a narrative in itself, resonating with the different stages of student life. “3 Idiots” is not just a movie; it’s a life lesson on the importance of passion, friendship, and thinking differently. Every time I watch it, I find a new perspective, a fresh lesson, and a renewed sense of motivation. It’s a movie that has shaped my thoughts and continues to inspire me every day.

Ever since I was a child, my dream has been to become a doctor. This aspiration stems from a deep desire to help others and make a tangible difference in their lives. The idea of being able to heal and provide comfort to those in pain is what drives me. I am particularly drawn to the field of medicine because of its unique blend of science and human interaction. Being a doctor is not just about understanding the human body and diseases; it’s also about understanding people, their fears, and their hopes. It involves a level of empathy and compassion that I find both challenging and rewarding. My goal is to specialize in pediatrics, as working with children and making a positive impact during their formative years is especially appealing to me. The resilience and innocence of children inspire me, and I want to contribute to a future where every child has the opportunity to live a healthy life. Becoming a doctor is undoubtedly a long and challenging journey, but it’s one I am willing to undertake for the satisfaction of improving and saving lives. It’s a profession that demands dedication, continuous learning, and a heart full of compassion — qualities I am committed to cultivating throughout my career.

(Business Man)

My ultimate career aspiration is to become a successful businessman, where I can merge innovation with impact. I am fascinated by the challenge of turning ideas into profitable ventures that also benefit society. The dynamic nature of business, from strategy formulation to the thrill of market competition, excites me. I envision creating a company that not only excels in its field but also promotes sustainable and ethical practices. Leadership, risk-taking, and decision-making are skills I am keen to develop, as they are vital in navigating the complex and ever-changing business landscape. Networking, understanding global market trends, and cultivating a team of diverse, talented individuals are also aspects I look forward to. For me, being a businessman is not just about financial success; it’s about creating something meaningful that can leave a lasting impact on the world.

Today I would like to talk to you about something special and important it’s an essential aspect of our life ….yes love and life. love and life are interwind in the dance of emotions and experience in our life’s journey. We often encounter moments of joy and success and failure, laughter and tears, love becomes the another that studies through these tumultuos waters, providing comfort and support during our times Yet both love and like can be unpredictable they might lead us down paths. We never expected or present us with obstacles. We must overcome, but friends remember within these challenges like the opportunity for growth and transformation to get them from the essence of our existence reminding us to save every moment and life and live with an open heart. So, friends I would like to conclude by saying that true love and life we truly find meaning and fulfillment in this vast and mysterious Universe. Science and life… Science has been an integral part of human life since the early civilization. It has made our lives easier, more comfortable, and more convenient. Science has helped us understand the mysteries of the universe and developed technologies that have transformed our world. Science has given us the ability to communicate with people all over the world, to travel to distant places, and to explore the depths of space. It has also helped us understand the functions of the human body and develop new treatments for diseases. However, it has also created new problems and challenges for us to face. For example, the development of new technologies has led to environmental problems and climate change. Despite these challenges, science remains an essential part of our lives. It has the power to transform our world and help us solve some of the problems we face. Moreover, science continues to push the boundaries of what we know and understand. Seasons and Human Life… The four seasons of the year are a natural cycle that has been observed by humans for thousands of years. These four stages have been used as a metaphor for different stages of human life: winter, spring, summer, and fall. Each season represents a different phase of life and each has its own unique characteristics and challenges. For instance, winter is a time of rest and preparation. It is a time to slow down and take stock of one’s life. Spring is a time of growth and new beginnings, a time to plant seeds and watch them grow. Summer is a time of abundance, warmth, and joy. It is a time to enjoy the fruits of one’s labour. Fall is a time of harvest and letting go. It is the time to reap what one has sown and prepare for the next cycle of life. The changing of the seasons can also affect human behaviour as hormone levels fluctuate with the seasons. This cyclical nature of life and seasons reminds us of the constant change in life and the need to adapt and grow with these changes. Moreover, just as each season brings its own beauty and challenges, so does each stage of life. Each phase comes with its own set of experiences, learning, and memories. Embracing each season of life helps us appreciate the journey and grow as individuals. So, as the seasons change, let us remember to appreciate and make the most of each moment.

“The White Tiger,” a novel by Aravind Adiga, holds a special place in my literary heart. This book captivated me with its raw and unflinching portrayal of the stark socio-economic divides in India. Through the eyes of Balram Halwai, the protagonist, Adiga skillfully unravels the complexities of corruption, poverty, and the struggle for survival in a rapidly changing nation. What struck me most was the narrative’s dark humor and the candid voice of Balram, who navigates his journey from a village boy to an entrepreneur in the city. The novel challenges conventional perceptions of right and wrong, throwing light on the desperation that can drive a person to extreme measures. Adiga’s storytelling is both powerful and provocative, making “The White Tiger” a compelling read. The introduction of GST (Goods and Services Tax) in my country marked a significant shift in the tax landscape. As a consumer, I’ve witnessed firsthand how this unified tax system simplified a previously complex array of state and central taxes. GST, often hailed as a ‘One Nation, One Tax’ reform, has not only streamlined the tax structure but also enhanced transparency in business transactions. What truly resonates with me about GST is its potential to unify the market, making it easier for small and medium businesses to expand their reach. It’s fascinating to see how this tax reform has bridged economic disparities across states, fostering a more cohesive national economy. Despite initial challenges in understanding and implementing GST, its long-term benefits in terms of efficiency and economic growth are undeniable. To me, GST is not just a tax reform; it’s a step towards a more integrated and equitable economic system.

In a world increasingly burdened by waste, the concept of transforming garbage into gold captivates my imagination. It’s a journey of seeing value in what is often overlooked. This transformation isn’t just about recycling or upcycling materials; it’s about changing our perspective towards waste. I remember being amazed by stories of communities turning plastic waste into usable items or artists creating beautiful sculptures from scrap metal. These initiatives symbolize hope and innovation. They remind us that with creativity and determination, what is discarded can find new life and purpose. This idea resonates with me on a personal level. It’s a metaphor for resilience and the ability to find beauty and worth in the most unexpected places. Just like garbage can be turned into something valuable, challenges in life can be transformed into opportunities for growth and learning.

Water is life. This is a common phrase that we often hear, but do we really understand what it means? Water is not only a substance that we drink or use for various purposes, but it is also the basis of all life on Earth. Without water, there would be no living organisms, no plants, no animals, and no humans. Water is a precious resource that we need to conserve and protect. However, water is facing many threats, such as pollution, overuse, and climate change. Pollution is the contamination of water by harmful substances, such as chemicals, plastics, and pathogens, that affect the quality and safety of water. Overuse is the excessive consumption of water by humans for various purposes, such as agriculture, industry, and domestic use, that depletes the availability and quantity of water. Climate change is the alteration of the Earth’s climate due to human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, that affect the temperature and precipitation patterns of water. Water is life. It is the most vital and essential resource for all living beings on Earth. It is also the most abundant and diverse resource that affects our environment and climate. Therefore, we need to appreciate and respect the value and importance of water, and we need to conserve and protect it for our own survival and well-being, as well as for the future generations. Water is not only life, but it is also our responsibility.

The relationship between man and machine has always fascinated me. It’s a symphony of human ingenuity and technological advancement, where each complements the other in the pursuit of progress. Machines, born from human creativity, have become integral to our daily lives, revolutionizing the way we work, communicate, and live. What intrigues me the most is how machines extend our capabilities, acting as extensions of our own selves. From simple tools enhancing physical strength to complex computers augmenting our intellectual capacity, machines are more than just inanimate objects; they are partners in our journey of evolution. Yet, amidst this marvel, there remains a poignant reminder of our humanity. Machines, no matter how advanced, cannot replicate the depth of human emotions, the spontaneity of our thoughts, or the moral compass that guides us. This interplay between man and machine is not just about technological dependency, but a dance of balance, where we leverage machines for progress while cherishing our uniquely human qualities.

Today I want to talk about “New Education Policy”. National education day is celebrated every year on the 11th of November in the memory of our first Education Minister Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad. He was the first person to design our education system and it was updated frequently. It was 1965 when our first Education Policy was introduced after this in the year 1986,it was changed. For another time then on the year 2020 we got our new education policy .This policy is very different and interesting in many ways it will increase students to go to school and there is also a plan of including 10 bag-less Classes. The new education system is not about gaining bookish knowledge but it is all about acquiring knowledge. Predominantly the new education policy focuses on 5 main pillars they are Access , Equality Quality, Affordability, Accountability. It was focused on the skills and interest of the student. The new structure of education has been designed as 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 starting from preschool. now preschool will also be part of School Education. Students are also free up to class 5 to learn any language of their choice. They will not be forced to learn English or Hindi which are compulsory these days.

“Practice makes man perfect” is a phrase that resonates deeply with me. It embodies the belief that consistency and perseverance are the keys to mastering any skill. This tip has been a guiding force in my own life, teaching me the value of dedication and hard work. I’ve experienced firsthand how regular practice transforms initial struggles into strengths. Whether it’s learning a new language, playing a musical instrument, or acquiring a professional skill, the journey from novice to proficient is paved with persistent effort. Each repetition, each hour of practice, builds not just skill, but also character and self-confidence. What strikes me most about this concept is its universal truth, regardless of the field or endeavor. It reminds us that perfection isn’t an innate gift but a reward for our efforts. This simple yet powerful idea keeps me motivated, encouraging me to embrace the process of learning and growth with patience and determination.

The interplay between politics and students is a subject that strikes a chord with me. Students are not just passive recipients of political decisions; they are active, vibrant members of the political landscape. Their fresh perspectives and youthful energy bring a unique dynamism to political discourse. I have seen students passionately engage in debates, lead social movements, and advocate for change, driven by a desire to shape a better future. Their involvement in politics goes beyond mere academic interest; it’s about taking responsibility for the society they are inheriting. This engagement, however, is a delicate balance. While it’s crucial for students to be politically aware and active, it’s equally important for them to remain focused on their education. Politics can be an invaluable learning experience, offering lessons in leadership, empathy, and civic responsibility. In my view, the involvement of students in politics is not just beneficial but necessary. It ensures that the voices of the younger generation are heard and considered in shaping the policies that will define their future.

In today’s digital era, the knowledge of computers has become akin to a basic life skill for me. It’s fascinating how these machines, once considered luxurious and complex, are now integral to our daily existence. Learning about computers has opened a gateway to a world of endless possibilities and opportunities. For me, computer literacy is not just about technical proficiency; it’s about connecting with the world. Whether it’s for education, work, or leisure, computers have a way of simplifying tasks, fostering creativity, and bridging geographical gaps. The joy of creating something on a computer, be it a simple document or a complex program, is immensely satisfying. What really touches me is how computers have become a universal tool for empowerment. They provide access to information, enable learning, and equip individuals with skills relevant in the modern workforce. My journey of learning about computers has been both empowering and transformative, continually fueling my curiosity and growth.

Describing a friend, talking about your relationship and life experiences can be quite fun! So, take a look at our topics on friendship in the list below. Writing a friendship essay is an excellent way to reflect on your relationships with other people, show your appreciation for your friends, and explore what friendship means to you. What you include in your paper is entirely up to you, but this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t structure it properly. Here is our advice on structuring an essay on friendship:

  • Begin by selecting the right topic. It should be focused and creative so that you can earn a high mark. Think about what friendship means to you and write down your thoughts. Reflect on your relationship with your best friend and see if you can write an essay that incorporates these themes. If these steps didn’t help – don’t worry! Fortunately, there are many web resources that can help you choose. Browse samples of friendship essays online to see if there are any topics that interest you.
  • Create a title that reflects your focus. Paper titles are important because they grasp the reader’s attention and make them want to read further. However, many people find it challenging to name their work, so you can search for friendship essay titles online if you need to.
  • Once you get the first two steps right, you can start developing the structure of your essay. An outline is a great tool because it presents your ideas in a clear and concise manner and ensures that there are no gaps or irrelevant points. The most basic essay outline has three components: introduction, body, and conclusion. Type these out and move to the next step. Compose an introduction. Your introduction should include a hook, some background information, and a thesis. A friendship essay hook is the first sentence in the introduction, where you draw the reader’s attention. For instance, if you are creating an essay on value of friendship, include a brief description of a situation where your friends helped you or something else that comes to mind. A hook should make the reader want to read the rest of the essay. After the hook, include some background information on your chosen theme and write down a thesis. A thesis statement is the final sentence of the first paragraph that consists of your main argument.
  • Write well-structured body paragraphs. Each body paragraph should start with one key point, which is then developed through examples, references to resources, or other content. Make sure that each of the key points relates to your thesis. It might be useful to write out all of your key points first before you write the main body of the paper. This will help you to see if any of them are irrelevant or need to be swapped to establish a logical sequence. If you are composing an essay on the importance of friendship, each point should show how a good friend can make life better and more enjoyable. End each paragraph with a concluding sentence that links it to the next part of the paper.
  • Finally, compose a conclusion. A friendship essay conclusion should tie together all your points and show how they support your thesis. For this purpose, you should restate your thesis statement at the beginning of the final paragraph. This will offer your reader a nice, well-balanced closure, leaving a good impression of your work.

As a teacher and role model for young minds, you can facilitate this important skill by teaching a unit on friendship. You might choose, for example, a lesson plan that focuses on developing socialization skills like: 1. How to identify what characteristics are important in a friend. 2. How to identify what a good friend does. 3. How to practice skills that help people make friends. True friends don’t expect anything in return for your friendship. They like you for who you are and they expect the same in return. Friends offer an excellent way to get rid of stress and depression. The company of our friends makes us forget our sorrows and any unwanted pressure. Plus, we can openly ask our friends for suggestions on how to solve our personal problems and they would be glad to help us out. Friendships can have a major impact on our health and well-being, but it's not always easy to build or maintain friendships. It is important to teach your students the importance of friendships in their lives and what they can do to develop and nurture these friendships. Friendships help children develop emotionally and morally. In interacting with friends, children learn many social skills, such as how to communicate, cooperate, and solve problems.

  • The thing that I always remember in my life is:

There are certain moments that every one should have undergone that remained a memory for the rest of one’s life. I have also got to share a memorable moment with you all. One day when I got up early in the morning, I happened to see the day was very gloomy and I had thought it was not a day of luck. I went and sat in the chair to look upon the then live news. It was to my surprise my photo was displayed on the television. I was very happy. That was not because a moment of achievement but some one week back a tv broadcasting channel came to our campus and conducted some games. During that period, the video was taken. And luckily among many hundreds of students, my video was played on television. I got lot of appreciation from my principal and colleagues. So it was an unforgettable moment in my life.

  • Social media is an advantage of disadvantage:

In my view, Social media is an advantage. It brings in all the people under one umbrella where each one can share his or her views. There is always a sense of consciousness in human beings. we are are somebody who do things with out thinking. Some people do bad works with social media. It does not mean the social networks are bad. Even with no existence of a social network, the same people commit such types of heinous acts. One cannot stop somebody who want to create problem to the society. Anyhow they do with or without social media. So nowadays with social media, communication has become damn easy. There is no delays unlike olden days where one need to wait 5 to 7 days to send a message to someone who was at distant places. Now, with the arrival of social media and networks, thing have changed drastically that all can be done with a single click of a button on the mobile or computer.

  • What if I am chosen to be a CEO of Google

If I become a CEO of Google, I bring a revolution in the way search engine works. I compete with Microsoft and Baidu. I bring down those and dominate them in terms of windows. Google never thought of beating the windows operating system. Microsoft is still on the upper hand. So if I become CEO of Google, I will discover one operating system to beat windows. I make sure that whatever is on the internet must be started from Google. Even in China I bring down Baidu search engine and develop Google and make it number one. I also develop artificial intelligence so that Google can maintain all of its assets intelligently.

  • My super favourite destination is:

My super favourite destination is to visit Falkland Islands. These Islands are beautifully landscaped in South America. There are penguins out there and the place is quite silent and windy. One can find serene atmosphere and can live life happily. There are many old people living there entirely after retirement. The Falkland Islands has got many churches which are attractive to see. There are few places where shoes are thrown and hanged as a sign of one to come and visit the place again and again.

Unlocking Creativity: Exploring Jam Session Topics

Jam sessions are the heartbeat of musical creativity, where musicians come together to improvise, collaborate, and explore new musical horizons. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, the right jam session topics can ignite your passion, inspire new ideas, and take your musical journey to the next level. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll delve into a variety of jam session topics that cater to different genres, skill levels, and musical interests.

Understanding the Essence of Jam Sessions

Before we dive into specific topics, let’s unravel the essence of jam sessions. A jam session is an informal gathering of musicians who come together to play music spontaneously. It’s a space where experimentation thrives, and there are no strict rules or predetermined arrangements. Instead, musicians feed off each other’s energy, communicate through their instruments, and create magic in the moment.

The Importance of Choosing the Right Topics

Selecting the right topics for your jam session is crucial for fostering creativity and maintaining momentum. The topics should resonate with the interests and skill levels of the participants while allowing room for exploration and improvisation. Whether you’re into jazz, blues, rock, or funk, there’s a plethora of topics to choose from that can spark inspiration and keep the music flowing.

Here’s some info to spark your jam session, considering two interpretations of “jam session topics”:

1. Musical Improvisation:

  • Focus on a specific genre:  Blues, Jazz, Funk, Rock, etc. Each genre has its own characteristic scales, chord progressions, and feels.
  • Start with a musical form:  The Blues 12-bar progression, AABA song form, or call and response are great launching points.
  • Use a familiar melody or riff:  Everyone jams on “Happy Birthday” or “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,” but what about a movie theme song or a classic video game soundtrack?
  • Explore a specific emotion:  Play something melancholic, funky and upbeat, or mysteriously suspenseful.
  • Rhythmic variations:  Change tempos, experiment with odd time signatures like 5/4 or 7/8, or try polyrhythms where different instruments play in different time feels.

2. Creative Brainstorming:

  • “What if?” scenarios:  What if animals could talk? What if social media disappeared overnight? Let your imaginations run wild.
  • Combine two seemingly unrelated things:  Merge a historical period with a modern technology, or create a story where a mythical creature works a regular office job.
  • Reimagine a classic story:  Flip the script on a fairy tale, rewrite a historical event from a different perspective, or give a well-known character a surprising twist.
  • Problem-solving challenges:  Come up with creative solutions to real-world problems like traffic congestion or climate change.
  • Role-playing different characters:  Step into the shoes of a fictional character, a historical figure, or even an inanimate object and improvise a scene.

Exploring jazz standards.

Jazz standards serve as the backbone of many jam sessions, providing a common language for musicians to communicate and collaborate. From timeless classics like “Autumn Leaves” and “All of Me” to bebop tunes like “Donna Lee” and “ Confirmation ,” exploring jazz standards opens up a world of musical possibilities. Each standard offers a unique chord progression, melody, and improvisational opportunities, making them ideal for jamming with fellow jazz enthusiasts.

Diving into Blues Progressions

Blues progressions are another staple of jam sessions, characterized by their soulful melodies, expressive lyrics, and raw emotion. Whether you’re playing a slow 12-bar blues or a fast-paced shuffle, blues progressions provide a solid foundation for improvisation and self-expression. Topics like “Blues in G” or “Chicago Blues Shuffle” invite musicians to explore different blues styles, techniques, and improvisational approaches.

Experimenting with Funk Grooves

Funk grooves add a funky flair to jam sessions, infusing the music with rhythm, groove, and attitude. Topics like “Funky Bass Lines” and “James Brown-style Rhythms” encourage musicians to explore syncopated beats, infectious grooves, and dynamic interplay. Whether you’re laying down a tight bassline, funky guitar riff, or infectious drum groove, funk jam sessions are all about locking into the pocket and keeping the party going.

Pushing the Boundaries with Experimental Improvisation

For the adventurous musician, experimental improvisation offers endless possibilities for sonic exploration and boundary-pushing creativity. Topics like “Free Jazz Explorations” and “Avant-Garde Soundscapes” invite musicians to break free from traditional conventions and venture into uncharted musical territory. Whether you’re experimenting with extended techniques, unconventional scales, or electronic effects, experimental jam sessions are a playground for sonic experimentation and innovation.

Jam session Topics are a playground for musical exploration, collaboration, and creativity. choosing the right topics, musicians can unlock their full potential, push their boundaries, and create music that transcends genres and conventions. Whether you’re jamming with friends in your basement or performing on stage in front of a live audience, the possibilities are endless. So grab your instrument, gather your fellow musicians, and let the music take you on a journey of discovery and inspiration.

50 Deep Questions to Ask Your Friends

Deep questions to ask about relationships, deep questions to ask about the world, deep questions to ask about life and death, deep questions about success and failure, deep questions to get weirdly philosophical.

  • The Importance of Asking Deep Questions
  • What Topics Are Considered Deep?
  • Advice on Initiating Deep Conversations with Friends

Our closest friends are a true lifeline—people who care about us, understand who we are at a core level, and who remain at our side through thick and thin. Cultivating genuine, fulfilling friendships takes real work, though, and often it starts by simply asking questions.

Beginning a relationship with lighthearted questions—usually focused around interests, hobbies, and their life—is the perfect place to start. But as you develop your friendship, it makes sense to start asking deep questions to engage on a whole new level.

If you lived in a college dorm, there's a good chance you've engaged in your fair share of deep conversations with friends already, and those may be some of your most cherished memories.

Asking friends deep questions is important for developing a strong bond. It’s a great way to learn more about others, increase closeness between you, and have more interesting conversations. It is a healthy attribute of any relationship and can create emotional intimacy .

Read on to discover the importance of deep questions over surface level conversation topics, check out a list of questions to get you started, and some tips on initiating deep conversations with friends so you can strengthen your relationships.

These questions cover a variety of topics including childhood, relationships, personal philosophies, and more. Many of them should spark natural follow up questions and conversation. You know your friends best, so choose the questions that you think may generate the best conversations and won't make anyone too uncomfortable.

It's also important to first make sure that you would be comfortable answering the question yourself. Once you put someone else on the hot seat, it's only a matter of time before they turn the question back on you. Avoid anything that may be too traumatic or triggering , unless that is something you and your friends are all comfortable with.

Some of these may seem lighthearted, but actually can lead to some of the most interesting insights into you and your friends' psyche.

These questions can help generate some interesting insights into how your friends feel about the relationships in their lives, and perhaps yield some insights into why you are good friends with them in the first place:

  • What is the most important relationship in your life?
  • What was your childhood like, and how is your relationship with your parents?
  • What does it mean to be a good friend to you?
  • If your exes were all stuck in a room together, what would they say about you?
  • Do you think there is one person out there that each of us are meant to be with?
  • What's the most unconventional thing that can attract you to someone?
  • What's the most petty dealbreaker that will instantly turn you off of a potential love interest?
  • If you could change one thing about me, what would it be and why?
  • What’s your approach to handling disagreements and conflicts in your relationships?

Everyone has their own opinions about what is right and wrong with the world. These questions can help you and your friends dig in on how you really feel, and why you feel that way. These kinds of questions could provoke some intriguing and enlightening—but friendly—arguments.

  • If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be and why?
  • What's something about the modern-day world that bothers you, and what’s something about it that brings you joy?
  • What is your favorite place in the world to be?
  • If you could choose any decade to live in, which one would you choose?
  • What is one thing that society has lost that you wish we could get back?
  • If you could erase one technological advancement from the world, what would it be?

There are no bigger questions than those that address where we came from and where we're going. These are some serious topics, so be prepared for things to get heavy. As long as you're in a safe space, these questions will make for some fascinating conversation:

  • What are your best and worst memories from childhood?
  • What’s something that happened in grade school that really impacted who you are today?
  • Do you believe in fate, or do you think we have control over our own destinies?
  • If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
  • Do spirituality or religion play any role in your life? Why or why not?
  • Do you regret the path your life has taken to this point?
  • If you could live a different life, what would it look like?
  • If you could erase the bad memories from your mind, would you?
  • If money were no object, what would you do with your life?
  • How do you want to be remembered?
  • Do you have any secrets that would change your whole life if they became public knowledge?
  • Would you trade a long life for a short life full of distinction and success?
  • If you could relive one day of your life, which day would it be and why?
  • If you only had 24 hours left to live, how would you spend it?
  • If you could know the day of your passing, would you want to know?

Sometimes, our friends may be the people we are most jealous of. But they probably feel the same about you! These questions about success and the various paths our lives can take will help you put things in perspective:

  • Where do you want to be in 10 years? Are you currently on that path?
  • Are you satisfied with your current career trajectory?
  • What are your biggest fears, and how do you cope with them?
  • What’s a challenge you’ve recently overcome or are currently facing?
  • How do you define happiness, and what do you do to cultivate it in your life?
  • What are the core principles that guide your decision-making and actions in life?
  • Do you ever feel like a failure?
  • What's your definition of success , and how are you working to achieve it?
  • What is the most important lesson you've learned in the past year?
  • What advice would you give to your younger self?

It's time to have some fun! These questions are best asked later on in the evening when everyone has loosened up a bit and is ready to say some things that nobody expects. At first glance, some of these may not seem like serious questions, but you will be surprised by how much insight you can glean from the answers you'll hear:

  • Would you rather time travel to the past or future?
  • What would your role be in the zombie apocalypse?
  • What fictional world would you most want to live in?
  • What skill is the closest thing you have to a superpower?
  • If your inner monologue was a book, what genre would it be?
  • If aliens came to Earth and you were the first person they saw, what would you do to communicate to them that you were friendly?

The Importance of Asking Deep Questions

The key difference between surface level conversations and deep questions is that the former has a quick and dry answer while the latter invites both parties to explore the topic more deeply. For example, lighthearted topics might be around today’s news or what happened at work today, while a deeper conversation goes beyond the surface.

Patel says deep conversations fulfill the following criteria:

  • Involve complex thought
  • Require vulnerability
  • Are only had with a select few close people
  • Build emotional bonds and strong relationships

There’s a time and place for these lighthearted conversations, of course—you can’t be deep all the time without your exchanges becoming exhausting—but it’s important to weave in deeper subjects for juicier conversations and more fulfilling relationships.

What Topics Are Considered Deep?

Deep conversation categories run the gamut, but include:

  • personal values
  • life philosophies
  • family dynamics
  • interpersonal relationships
  • dreams and aspirations
  • self-reflection

Reena B. Patel, clinical psychologist

Engaging in deep conversations with people allows us to develop empathy, increases our own mental wellness, and creates connections.

“Engaging in deep conversations with people allows us to develop empathy, increases our own mental wellness, and creates connections,” Patel explains. “It also has benefits of intellectual stimulation and increased positive emotions.”

What’s more, research shows that going beyond small talk tends to make people feel happier, even though it’s challenging to initiate these deeper conversations. A 2021 study found that people felt more connected to others when having deep conversations versus shallow ones.

Another study from 2018 found that when we have these deep bonds, it promotes self-esteem, improves life satisfaction, fosters a sense of belonging, and boosts both our mental and physical health.

Advice on Initiating Deep Conversations with Friends

The 2021 study we referenced above was interesting in that it noted people’s desire to connect deeply, but acknowledged just how difficult it can be to start these conversations.

Create a space where one feels safe to share, make time, validate and establish rapport. Ask questions about their values and perspective and actively listen without judgment.

The truth is that asking deep questions requires vulnerability from both parties. You’ll find, though, that once you start talking about these topics the other person will open up slowly, which leads to a snowball effect of continued relationship growth. But how do you get there to begin with?

“Create a space where one feels safe to share, make time, validate and establish rapport,” Patel says. “Ask questions about their values and perspective and actively listen without judgment.”

Remember, asking deep questions is a two-way street, meaning that there’s give and take from both sides. Remain open to your friends’ responses, be willing to share your own thoughts and experiences, and respect any desire to end the conversation or switch to a new topic.

Us Still Hasn't Recovered From These Unhinged Moments at Kelce Jam 2024

A s promised, Travis Kelce brought the party to Kansas City for his second annual Kelce Jam - and there's nowhere Us would rather be.

The 34-year-old athlete celebrated with his city on Saturday, May 18, and was joined by special guests Lil Wayne , Diplo , 2 Chainz and more. "I do this for me. I have fun doing this," Kelce exclusively told Us at the festival. "This is a part of me having fun for me. Yeah, I love just being around KC. The people here are unbelievable. And on top of that, man, I got all my friends and family and my business team with me gearing up for this, this just unbelievable evening."

While Taylor Swift wasn't in attendance due to her European Eras Tour schedule , Kelce's girlfriend was there in spirit. "Taylor's shows are unbelievable," he gushed to Us . "If you haven't been to them, you got to try it."

There was no shortage of references made to Swift, 34, on Saturday - from friendship bracelets to fans' outfits. Kelce even shed light on his top three favorite songs by the pop star. Along with 1989 ‘s "Blank Space," he named two new tracks from her album The Tortured Poets Department : "The Alchemy" and "So High School," both of which were seemingly inspired by the pair's whirlwind romance.

Every Apparent Travis Kelce Nod Taylor Swift Made on 'Eras Tour' in 2024

Before Kelce recaps the event on his "New Heights" podcast - how many times will the word "electric" be used? - Us rounded up all of the most memorable Kelce Jam moments:

‘Mine' Remix

Kelce made a grand entrance to Swift's "Mine," belting out the lyrics only slightly off-key. (It wasn't lost on many Swifties that the DJ mashed up the Speak Now hit with one of her ex Calvin Harris ‘ songs.)

AC/DC (Travis' Version)

Along with giving his own Eras Tour -worthy performance of a Swift classic, Kelce grabbed the mic to sing "You Shook Me All Night Long." In a hilariously chaotic clip , the music cut out, but Kelce continued his one-man show.

Kicking Things Off

Kelce signed a few footballs and launched them into the crowd, doing a celebratory dance after punting from center stage. ( Harrison Butker , who?)

The Smoke Machines

Kelce had the time of his life spraying fans with two huge hoses. "Trav, you crazy!" the DJ teased while the crowd was supplied with free hats and Uncrustables.

Taylor Swift's Cameo

Blink and you might miss a clip of Swift cheering on her man at the 2024 Super Bowl in the festival's intro montage, which also showed Kelce making her signature heart-shaped hand gesture.

Ready for a Three-peat

"Tell me who right now wants to get a third one?" the tight end said on stage, referring to the Chiefs' back-to-back Super Bowl wins. In a clip shared via social media , a hype man in the background could be heard shouting, "Oh s-t!"

Ross Travis the Bartender

Kelce's pal was spotted wearing a cowboy hat behind the bar.

Trading Friendship Bracelets

In a sweet TikTok video, Kelce was seen taking one of his beaded bracelets off of his wrist to swap with a fan.

All They Do Is Win

Kelce was joined by Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes on stage, who also declared his hopes for a Super Bowl three-peat. "Just know back-to-back's not good enough," he told fans as "All I Do Is Win" started to play.

‘Babes’ gives moms their own gross-out comedy

Ilana Glazer and Michelle Buteau play BFFs engaged in the messiness of female friendship.

“Babes” is a sticky-sweet comedy about two best friends bound together by an almost hive-inducing intimacy. The feature film directing debut of actor Pamela Adlon (“Better Things,” “Californication”), it’s a movie that hits you with the same surge of mixed emotions as a hug from a grubby toddler.

Childhood besties Dawn (Michelle Buteau) and Eden (Ilana Glazer, who wrote the script with Josh Rabinowitz) maintain a closeness that one might call admirable or suffocating. In the decades since their girlhoods in New York’s Astoria neighborhood, Dawn married, earned a medical degree, moved to the Upper West Side and birthed her first child — while Eden, a single yoga instructor, has barely matured. Eden’s fourth-floor walk-up boasts a full-size popcorn machine and a fast-food-style soda dispenser, the teenage dream.

Still, the friends remain so mind-melded that they’re able to have an entire conversation just using different tonalities of the b-word. They keep geo-trackers of each other’s location on their phones and text each other every scatological detail of their lives. The mild-mannered jazz score — de rigueur for any film that involves strolling past brownstones — belies that this film traffics in every orifice and bodily fluid known to woman. One scene’s big surprise is when someone does not projectile vomit.

But the messiness here just as often comes from the complexities of female friendships, which can be a Gordian knot of secrets, vulnerabilities and well-meaning lies. If couples’ therapists expanded into the BFF market, they’d make a mint — and if more movies were made about female friendship, women might have an easier time articulating their way out of a jam.

In the opening sequence, a belabored water-breaking gag begets a phenomenal, howling meltdown as Eden rushes Dawn to the hospital to deliver her second infant. Dawn’s husband, Marty (Hasan Minhaj), arrives to find himself the third wheel at his own child’s birth. “Was it you two that just had the baby?” he grumbles.

However, Dawn and Eden’s bond is already pulling at the seams. To the film’s credit, it’s aware that Dawn simply doesn’t have the bandwidth for a full-service best friend on top of two kids, a husband, a dental practice and a house with shoddy plumbing. Friends are family until your table is just too full. (The only characters lucky enough to have it both ways are a set of hilarious twins played by Kenneth Lucas and Keith Lucas, who finish each other’s sentences with the contentment of a dyad.)

The women’s diverging paths are captured in an early montage that cuts between Dawn talking to her doctor about lactation and Eden flirting with a stranger (Stephan James) on the subway. Spoilers ahead: This chance encounter will reroute Eden’s own trajectory toward motherhood, which she embraces with the fervency of a zealot. “This is Destiny’s Child,” she beams about her swelling stomach, while Dawn gazes at her warily.

It’s a dynamic familiar to anyone who’s watched a loved one fling themselves into a hobby, a diet or an activist cause, with a painful twist: While Eden had the energy to support Dawn through her pregnancies, Dawn is too harried to do the same for her. The imbalance is understandable, unavoidable and gut-wrenching. And while the audience may share Dawn’s doubts about Eden’s maternal skills, Adlon skips as fast as the plot allows to Eden’s second trimester, barely pausing over the question of will-she-or-won’t-she-keep-it? She will — so now what?

This is a film where the female body becomes the center of gravity, where everything — work, play, love, laughter — orbits the belly. The leads are credible friends even though their performances are on slightly different wavelengths. Buteau is grounded and realistic. When her exhausted Dawn confesses that she can’t take “it” anymore, she doesn’t even have to say what “it” is to have the audience nodding their heads in solidarity.

By contrast, Glazer has built her career on turning herself into a Muppet-y version of what women would say if they had her nerve. Eden is aggressively blunt to strangers, but the more she loves someone, the shyer she gets. There’s a subtle scene with her estranged dad, played by Oliver Platt, that’s heartbreaking. And even though this film starts with Eden sticking her head between Dawn’s thighs to see whether she’s giving birth — an image that’s as personal as two friends can get — we come to realize how rarely they’re honest with each other.

Glazer and Rabinowitz’s script can be patchy and manic, but it does its best work showing the contortions women undergo to prove their support, especially in today’s “yaaaas queen” era where everyone is a goddess. Here, support looks a lot like lying. If these babes are serious about raising babies, they’re going to have to put their big girl pants on and tell each other the truth.

R. At Alamo Drafthouse Cinema DC Bryant Street on May 21 and additional area theaters May 23. Contains swearing, sexual material and scenes with psychedelic drugs. 104 minutes.

Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder shreds Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker for commencement comments

Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam has joined those condemning Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker's comments at the Benedictine College commencement address.

“While I have your attention,” Vedder said at a show in Las Vegas, “Can we please raise our voices, clap our hands, and show our appreciation for the first group to be on the stage tonight, Deep Sea Diver?

“That’s some good men and good women making up a great band. The singer, Jessica, and the keyboard player, Patti, they must not have believed that ‘diabolical lie’ that women should take pride in taking a back seat to their man.”

(NSFW language in the video)

Vedder continued: "You see the kicker and he doesn't have the pads because he doesn't tackle anybody or get tackled.

NFL STATS CENTRAL: The latest NFL scores, schedules, odds, stats and more.

"But he started telling men to puff up your chest and be more masculine and you don't lose your masculinity.

"The irony was that when he was saying that, he looked like such an expletive-expletive. There's nothing more masculine than a strong man supporting a strong woman."

Eddie Vedder just called out Harrison Butker and called him the ‘P’ word here in Vegas ‘There’s nothing more masculine than a strong man supporting a strong woman,’ he said. @PearlJam pic.twitter.com/8ABLNW3ON0 — Adam Zagoria (@AdamZagoria) May 19, 2024
